1. Make a significant effort to spend more time alone and let your most authentic thoughts flood in.  2. Maybe even start a journal, and make that your most important goal this year.

 As you begin to spend more time getting to know yourself, you may be shocked at how many horrible things you direct at yourself. These thoughts over time could ruin your self worth. 

1. Whenever you catch yourself in the act, ask yourself, "Would I say that to someone I love?"  2. Follow each negative thought with a positive affirmation.

People can be toxic in a variety of ways, whether they openly put you down, are unsupportive, or manipulate your emotions in an underhanded way — but all are detrimental to your self-esteem.

1. Have a frank conversation with that person.  2. Set boundaries around how you spend time together. 3. Find ways or consult a specialist to help block out their negativity.

EAT AND DRESS SUSTAINABLY

Black and white behavior (crash diets & shopping sprees) is a façade the brain does to make us feel more in control. It might work for the short term, however it is not sustainable. 

1. Work on a diet with fresh ingredients and zero takeout, without depriving yourself. 2. Create an exercise schedule that fits into your existing calendar (once a week is good)

1. Spend some time studying fashion blogs or magazines and photos of celebrities whose style you admire.  2. Use that knowledge to make more informed, savvy purchasing decisions.

Your passions are essential to understanding and expressing who you are. The more time you spend doing those things, the more fulfilled you will feel.

1. Make a conscious effort to prioritize your interests.  2. If you haven’t landed on an activity, carve out a regular time to try something new until you land on one.

Make a conscious decision to not allow the little things or the everyday trouble to get in your way to enjoy and live life to the fullest. 

1. Unwind your nervous system by listening to music, dancing, or meditating for 5 minutes daily. 2. Remember your value and what you have to offer to those around you.
